Boston Acoustic PV600 10" Subwoofer Refoam Kit
This is the correct kit that fits exactly on the VR500, PV600 and Micro90pv II (not the series 1) paper cone woofer.
These woofers use a very unique foam surround and we do not use a generic foam surround like most others sell. See the closeup picture to check out the foam surround.
You may have to trim 1/16" off the outside of the surround to fit inside the recessed lip of the basket.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed
to repair one (1) woofer:
- Refoaming Instructions
- 1 Foam Surround (F10-2)
- 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*It can be difficult to remove the dust cap on this woofer. If you remove the poly cap it could destroy the paper cone. Therefore, we recommend hand centering this woofer instead of shimming the voice coil when replacing the foam surround. When the glue is still tacky you can move the cone up and down. If you feel or hear the voice coil rubbing, just keep moving the cone assembly until it is free of rubbing.
