Building an SD/HD-SDI recorder with a physical control panel, and a monitor into a portable hand carried clamshell design; the Datavideo HRS-30 Portable Hand Carried SD/HD-SDI Recorder with Built-in 10.1" Monitor is suitable for use on locations for off camera recording of SD/HD-SDI signals. The integrated physical keyboard provides push-button navigation and playback of your video clips with familiar VTR style control. It features a small LCD screen for clip information, so your footage can play back on the 10.1" monitor screen.
The 10.1" TFT LCD is built-into the cover of the HRS-30, so there is no need to cable the monitor, just open the cover and power up. The unit accepts SD/HD-SDI signals through its input, and provides a loop through SDI output, an HDMI and SDI output for playback from the unit. Recording the video image using MPEG 2 codec with 4:2:2 color sampling provides a good balance of quality versus file size, and you can choose to record your footage as either MXF or MOV files. The unit records to optional 2.5" SATA drives that you mount in the included removable drive rack. Power for the HRS-30 is either through use of an optional V-Mount battery attached to the built-in V-Mount in the unit's cover, or by using the included power supply, which features a locking power connector.

In the event that a buyer chooses to return an item within 14 days, the buyer will be responsible for paying shipping fees back to our facility where the returned package will be inspected by our staff; this includes international buyers. If the item is deemed resalable as the condition in which it was sold, a refund will be given minus the original cost of shipping to the customer. In the case that the item cannot be resold in its original condition, a restocking fee and the original cost of shipping to the customer will be subtracted from the refund amount. This restocking fee starts at 20%, and may be higher depending on the condition of the item upon return (i.e. broken seals, ripped packaging, damaged product, missing accessories, etc.). If a package reaches the destination country and is refused by the buyer or is returned, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of all shipping charges to and from the country.
In an event the unit needs to be serviced under the manufacturer warranty, the buyer is responsible for contacting the manufacturer and paying for any shipping fees associated with service or repair. Your receipt from PayPal is the only receipt that is issued and is used for proof of purchase with manufacturers.
International buyers are responsible for researching manufacturer warranties in their country. Studio AMG is a United States seller, providing United States products with full U.S. warranties. In the event that a product is damaged upon arrival or the buyer wishes to return the product for any reason, they will be responsible for any shipping charges back to Studio AMG.
