Sony HDW-1800 HDCAM Studio Recorder Low Hours in Original Box.
Condition is "used".   Included is the locking OSHA power cord and the original, unopened paper and CD-ROM manuals.
This machine was used in a Record-Only operation, not an editing situation.   Not a lot of rewind/fast forward/shuttle, in other words.
The machine was rack mounted, and it comes with the RMM-131A rack mount kit and rails to fit a standard 19" rack.
This machine also includes the expensive HKDW-104 Pull-Down/720p option board(00 new), and the HKDW-104 manuals.
With only 648 hours of actual tape running through this machine, this machine has many years of service remaining.
The system battery was replaced in June 2021, so you will probably never see ERROR 96 on this machine!
I am the original owner of this machine.   It has been an operationally perfect machine.   The price I listed it for is a great price, as the original cost was ,694.

Affordable HDCAM studio editing recorder with Digital Betacam and MPEG IMX formats legacy playback. Capable of Recording and playback HDCAM 1080/59.94i, 50i, 25PsF,29.97PsF, 23.98PsF and 24PsF formats. 3-2 pull down is available by using option board HKDW-104. This deck inherited all editing functions from HDW-2000series, such as DMC, audio split, pre-read and audio cross-fade editing. A color LCD panel on the control panel displays various type of information including audio level meter and time data. The LCD unit also displays video when playback or recording. Built-in down converter enables to output 480/59.94i or 576/50i. Also Up converter enables 1080/59.94i or 1080/50i HD output from Digital Betacam or MPEG IMX tape playback. Up to 3 packets of VANC metadata can be recorded and played back. Non-audio recording is available such as Dolby-E or AC3. By using HKDW-104 option board, 720/50P or 720/59.94P outputis available.
